Emily Rachael is a professional Gospel Jazz vocalist who has headlined at numerous Christian coffee houses and concerts including “Samantha’s little bit of heaven” “Acts two Café”, “Last Chance Café” and at United in Christ Church’s “Jesus Alive” concert series.
Headlining two out of the last three years at The Nautical mile’s “Our Holy Redeemer” outdoor venue has been a wonderful occasion. She sings to glorify the Lord in every Church, concert, Jazz club and venue including festivals that she’s been in.
Singing and being interviewed live on numerous cable and Internet shows was an exciting and thrilling experience. Inspired Blessings with Jean Marie Prince cable show, The Chapters Rap Cable show live (in over 100 countries,) Channel 12 a local news program, and Dog is Good an Internet show, etc. She truly enjoys the opportunities and has been asked to participate in more.

When just a freshman in college Emily had the thrill of performing in her first professional gig singing background vocals for Vickie Truett, a known contemporary Christian indie artist. Studying voice at Kings College she was afforded wonderful opportunities to start her singing career. Emily sang with Christian artist Larnelle Harris in the Kings College Choir, and “The Young Messiah tour” at Madison Square Garden. As a college sophomore, she opened for Christian artist John Leon Lewis. Emily Rachel was the featured jazz vocalist for the music programs jazz program. With the honor of featured jazz vocalist usually given to upperclassmen, Emily received the prime spot as a sophomore.

With every concert Emily Rachael performs in she uses all her stage experiences to continue to push her musical vision forward. What makes Emily Rachael a standout is her unique style of blending gospel with a bluesy/jazzy feel to contemporary Christian music. She adds to her voice her skills of changing the styles of the songs she sings to make them her own. And she does!
Besides her passion for singing, Emily Rachael is an advocate for all people with disabilities. She received her service dog Carmel from Canine Companions for Independence in November of 2010.
She works tirelessly helping the disabled by making sure that they can get around safely by making sure curb cuts are accessible and parking lots have correct grids to park. Emily believes in the power of service dogs and the independence they bring to their handlers. She believes in this power so strongly that she made it her platform as Ms. Wheelchair NY USA 2016! Her platform was Service Dogs Changing Lives One Wag At A Time. At the National competition, Emily came in 1st runner up and received the Namaste, Ms. Congeniality and the People’s choice awards.Being honored as a “Woman of Distinction 2016” by New York State was a highlight of her year. The honor was given to her for her work with the disabled and service dogs. Carmel, her service dog loves the limelight and will take a bow after Emily's shows, much to the delight of her audiences.
